The Kid Pitch 11u–12u program at the Irving Boys Baseball Association is a competitive, co-ed baseball league designed for players who are ready for the full kid-pitch experience. Players in this age group transition further into the competitive side of baseball. They will refine their pitching, hitting, and fielding skills while learning advanced rules, game situations, and team strategies. Our experienced coaches emphasize fundamentals, good sportsmanship, and respect for teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents.

Dates & Season Format

Program Start Date: May 18, 2026

Program End Date: June 19, 2026

The season runs for just over four weeks of scheduled games. Specific game schedules, and field locations will be communicated to families prior to the start of the season.

Eligibility Requirements

• Age Range: 11 and 12 years old
• Age Cutoff: Players must be 11 or 12 years of age prior to May 1 of the current year.
• Gender: Open to both boys and girls

Players will be grouped by age and skill level as needed to promote fair and competitive play, while still offering a positive experience for everyone on the field.

• Infield and outfield positioning and responsibilities
• Base running strategy and smart decision-making
• Understanding of rules, game situations, and team strategy
