Welcome to the Coach Pitch 7u–8u program at Irving Boys Baseball Association, located in Irving, Texas. This competitive, coach-pitch league is designed for young players who are ready to build on their fundamentals and experience the excitement of real game play.

What Players Will Learn

Our Coach Pitch 7u–8u program focuses on building strong fundamentals while keeping baseball fun and engaging. Players will work on:

• Proper hitting mechanics with coach-pitched live batting
• Throwing and catching techniques
• Fielding ground balls and fly balls
• Base running, including how to run through first base and round the bases
• Basic defensive positioning and teamwork on the field
• Understanding game rules, sportsmanship, and respect for teammates and coaches
