General information

Returning Players

If your player requested to play for a certain team due to playing with that team before, please notify your coach that you have registered.

New Players

Players will be assigned to a team/coach for the Rookie, 5U and 6U age groups, once registration ends your coach will notify you.

Tryouts - 7U thru 14U - February 16th

Each age group will have a designated time to arrive, typically an hour long.  The times will be later determined and communicated via our website.

IBBA will host various baseball drills for each age group so coaches can see your player in action.  There will then be a DRAFT where each coach will select players to play on their teams.  The draft will be completed on Feb. 17th, coaches will work during the following week to contact parents.

Games

For Ages 5-14U, will be a 12 game season, Rookie will have 8 games.  Games are played during the weekdays in the evenings, we will play games on some Saturdays but mainly reserve Saturdays as rainout/makeup days.  Games run from 1hr to 1.5hr each depending on the age group, older age groups have longer game times.

Practices

Practice schedules are determined by the coach, typically its 1-2 evenings a week for up to 1.5hr long each practice session.

Equipment Needed

Baseball glove is a must, cleats, and a batting helmet.  Its great if you can get your player their own bat, typically bats can be shared within a team if needed.

Uniform

Uniform is an additional cost, the coaches manage their own uniform but is not to exceed $80 in out of pocket costs.

Thanks for playing baseball with the IBBA!
